What is Resin bound surface?

Resin Bound Gravel is a high-performance SUDS compliant. Its smooth appearance makes its perfect for flooring solutions both outside and inside your house. Available in a range of colours, which can be tailored to suit you and your home.

The bound gravel is hand trowelled which gives a smooth appearance and texture, no loose gravel. The surface is hard wearing and looks stunning in any house or garden.

Its slip resistant and permeable which means it doesn't puddle, making it the perfect solution for Driveways, Patios and Wet-rooms. Its low maintenance unlike block paving, leaving you more time to enjoy your new resin bound surface.

is it expensive?

It is hard to give a price per M2 without having first discussed your needs with you. Each project is unique and dependant on the existing floor in place, the layout, size of stone required, colour and resin needs, UV stable or non UV stable resin.

Don't worry though, when you call for a quote we can talk through all the different options with you to get you the best price possible.

How long does it last?

If installed by a trained competent person, then Resin Bound Surfaces with minimal maintenance can last from 10 years +

top 5 reasons to have resin bound installed in your home

#1 - Its permeable - Unlike other flooring materials water drains away, this means no puddles for days on end.

#2 - Its weed proof - The upkeep for resin bound floors is almost nothing, this means no weeding. Sweeping and the occasional wash down with a hose is all this requires. Be careful when if using a pressure washer, the pressure can encourage the stones to lift and reduce the lifetime of your resin bound floor.

#3 - Durability - Its able to withstand hot temperatures in the summer and freezing weather in the winter. When installed correctly resin bound surfaces can last 10 years +

#4 - Kerb Appeal - Unlike concrete or block paving, resin bound flooring can be tailored to your requirements, stones can be mixed to give you a truly unique floor in colour and appearance.

#5 - No planning permission is required - Since 2008 government legislation states planning permission is not needed for areas less than 5m2 or if the new surface is permeable.
